Corporate functions — Sandton's marquee work
Sandton is Johannesburg's business district and the suburbs around it; Midrand is the corridor between Johannesburg and Pretoria, from Halfway House to Kyalami. Product launches, client days and December year-ends drive the Sandton calendar. Frame marquees rig on office-park lawns and parking decks with flooring, draping, stage and AV space planned in; glass marquees carry the premium builds where the structure is part of the brand. Winter functions add heating as standard — a July evening in Sandton sits near 5°C. Weekend and after-hours rigging keeps office parks operational.
Estate and home functions — Bryanston to Kyalami
Bryanston, Morningside and River Club gardens take stretch tents over pools and lawns; Waterfall, Steyn City, Kyalami and Beaulieu estates require weighted structures with gate clearance, which the crew manages. Kyalami's equestrian properties host marquee weddings on lawn — the planning guide is wedding tent hire in Johannesburg.

Common questions
Can you rig inside Waterfall, Steyn City or Kyalami estates?
Yes — weighted frame and stretch structures meet estate no-peg rules, and the crew handles the gate-access and contractor registration. Allow an extra day for clearance.
Do you do corporate year-end functions in Sandton?
Yes. Frame and glass marquees with flooring, draping, staging, heating and branding rig on office-park lawns and decks, with after-hours setup so business hours stay clear.
What does a glass marquee cost in Sandton?
Roughly double an equivalent frame marquee — a 100-guest glass structure runs R14,000–R25,000 in the Gauteng market, before draping, flooring and climate control.
